Emily Peters is a dedicated professional with diverse experience in education, human resources, and entrepreneurship. Currently serving as a Human Resources Assistant at Broad River Rehab since January 2023, Emily also founded Cards By Emy in July 2022, specializing in handcrafted greeting cards. Previous roles include customer experience at Michaels Stores, and instructional positions at The Franklin School of Innovation and Democracy Prep Public Schools, where Emily developed training strategies, modified curricula, and collaborated with subject matter experts to support diverse learners. Emily's extensive background in teaching and program management is complemented by leadership experience as a Team Leader and AmeriCorps Member at City Year, along with early childhood education roles at local churches. Emily holds a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and American Studies from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
