Cherylyn Ebertz has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Cherylyn started their career in 2008 as a Photographer/Editor/Sales Associate at JC Penney Portrait Studio. Cherylyn then worked as a News Reporter for Virginia Wesleyan College, where they covered Arts & Entertainment stories. In 2010, they interned as a Media Intern at Positive Hit Radio The Current/WJLZ and also worked as a Generalist/Specialist at ChaCha.

From 2011 to 2014, Cherylyn worked at Pearson Scoring Center, where they served as a Scoring Supervisor and Scorer, managing a team of scorers and scoring standardized tests for education agencies and school systems. Cherylyn also gained experience as an Assistant/Intern at Devon Shanor Photography during this time.

In 2014, Cherylyn joined Kantar Media, where they held multiple roles over the years. Cherylyn started as an Internet - Production II Coder & Outdoor - Production I Data Entry, and later became a Specialist II, Operations Assistant. In this role, they collected and delivered accurate data, streamlined processes, and presented information in a meaningful format.

In 2019, Cherylyn joined Brkthru as a Media Coordinator, responsible for coordinating media operations. Recently, they have transitioned into the role of Media Operations Specialist.

Outside of their professional career, Cherylyn also has experience in photography through their business, Electrophotography. Cherylyn has worked as an Owner/Photographer, providing creative portraits, wedding photography, and contract/freelance photography for local clients and businesses.

Cherylyn Ebertz has a strong education background with degrees in Communications: Media Studies and Liberal Arts. From 2008 to 2010, they attended Virginia Wesleyan College and completed their Bachelor's degree in Communications: Media Studies with a focus on Film, Photography, Journalism, Media, and Communications. Prior to that, they attended Tidewater Community College from 2005 to 2008, where they earned an Associate of Arts degree with a concentration in Liberal Arts. Additionally, Cherylyn Ebertz has obtained a Google Ads Search Certification from Google in February 2022.
