Emma McAuliffe has extensive experience in communications and human rights advocacy. Currently serving as the Communications Lead for the Ukraine Crisis at British Red Cross since January 2023, Emma previously worked at WaterAid as a Partnership Communications Officer from February 2022 to January 2023. Prior roles include Communications Assistant at United for Global Mental Health, Graduate Trainee at Smart Works Charity, and intern at the United Nations in the Human Rights Council and Treaty Mechanisms. Emma's early career involved internships and volunteer positions focused on human rights, including roles at Amnesty International, Memorial, and the Civic Assistance Committee. Emma holds a BA in Modern and Medieval Languages from the University of Cambridge and is currently pursuing further studies at the Higher School of Economics in Human Rights, Political Journalism, and Russian Language.
