Katy Powell is an experienced professional with a diverse background in partnership quality management and volunteer coordination, currently serving as Partnership Quality Lead for Wales and Volunteer Manager for Macmillan Cancer Support since January 2019. Previously, Katy held roles as an Accredited Equestrian Coach and Consultant for the British Horse Society since January 1989, and worked as an Internal Quality Verifier at Coleg Cambria until July 2020. Katy also contributed as Chairperson for North Wales Cancer Appeal from January 2014 to March 2019 and as Centre Membership Chairperson and Trustee for The Pony Club during the same period. Additional experience includes serving as Equestrian Outreach and Commercial Manager at Welsh College of Horticulture/Deeside College from September 2008 to March 2013. Katy Powell’s educational background includes attendance at Mold Alun from 1983 to 1988.
