Andrew Simister is an experienced Database Engineer/Developer currently at the British Geological Survey since April 2019. Prior to that role, Andrew served as a Senior Analyst Developer at E.ON from 2006 to January 2019, where responsibilities included working as an Oracle PL/SQL/SQL Senior Developer focused on re-platforming and re-engineering business systems from 2006 to 2009, and designing and delivering Oracle components for the E.ON IVR system from 2009 to 2015. Andrew holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electronic Engineering from the University of Hull, earned between 1981 and 1984.
