Umar Patel is an experienced professional in operations management, currently serving as a Senior Operations Manager at British Gas since March 2011, with previous roles including Customer Delivery Manager and Smart Energy Manager focused on Smart Metering. Prior to British Gas, Umar was employed at BT from August 2005 to March 2011 in various managerial capacities, including Project Delivery Manager and Team Manager for both Consumer Provision Management and Service Operations. Umar also worked as a Training Officer at Astron from January 2004 to April 2005 while pursuing a BSc (Hons) in Computer Science at De Montfort University.
