Stephen Lilley is an experienced engineering professional with a diverse background in various roles within the engineering and emergency services sectors. Currently serving as a Smart Electrical Engineer at British Gas since November 2013, Stephen is involved in frontline electrical work and the installation of EV charging points. Previous roles include Performance Coach and Firefighter with Lincolnshire Fire & Rescue, where responsibilities encompassed responding to incidents including fires and medical emergencies. Stephen has also worked as a Project Engineer at OMEGA Sinto Foundry Machinery Limited, conducting on-site client visits and creating commercial factory layouts using AutoCAD. An earlier career included positions at Fairline Yachts as a Stage 1 Fitter and at Timsons Inc. and MAN B & W Diesel A as a Cast Metal Engineer, focusing on manufacturing and engineering processes. Educational qualifications include an ONC in Materials Engineering from Coventry Tech College and training from Chesterfield College and Queen Eleanor School.
