James Davies is an experienced financial executive currently serving as the Senior Independent Non-Executive Director and Chair of the Audit and Risk Committee at British Cycling since March 2022, and as Group CFO at Monzo Bank since September 2021. Previously, James held the role of Group CFO at Domestic & General, leading a global appliance care specialist with over Ā£100 million EBITDA, and at Purplebricks Group PLC. Further experience includes key financial positions such as CFO of William Hill Online, Global Finance Director at Kingfisher plc, and Director of UK M&A at Deutsche Bank. James began a finance career in audit and corporate finance at Deloitte and Close Brothers, following a BSc in Accounting & Financial Analysis from the University of Warwick.
