Pierre Pecson serves as the Head of Education at the British Council since November 2019, leading the education portfolio and fostering bilateral relations in education between the Philippines and the UK. Previous roles include Programme Manager for Education and Partnerships Manager for the YouthWorks PH project at the Philippine Business for Education, where Pierre focused on youth empowerment and skills development. Earlier experiences at the British Council encompassed significant contributions to internationalizing higher education and promoting UK education in the Philippines. Pierre began a career in research as a Program Officer and Research Associate, and holds a Bachelor's Degree in Consular and Diplomatic Affairs from De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde.
