Lisa Yip is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in business development and education. Currently serving as the Head of Business Development at the British Council since May 2019, Lisa oversees performance management for examinations in Hong Kong and Macau, focusing on strategic planning, client management, and financial oversight. Prior to this role, Lisa completed a PhD at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, specializing in research skills and presentations, while also teaching undergraduate courses in microeconomics and business management. Lisa's earlier career at Kaplan spanned nearly two decades, where roles included Vice President for Accountancy and Business Development and Principal of the Kaplan Business and Accountancy School. Educational qualifications include an MBA from The University of Edinburgh, a PhD and BA from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, and a Professional Diploma in Corporate Governance and Directorship from the Hong Kong Institute of Directors and Hong Kong Productivity Council.
