Daniel Friend, CIIC, currently serves as the Head of Internal Communications at the British Council, where responsibilities include shaping internal communication strategies for a prominent cultural relations organization. Previous experience includes the role of Global Head of Communications at ED&F Man, overseeing communication for a global commodity trading house, and Head of Internal Communications at the Foreign and Commonwealth Office, where a global internal communications strategy was devised. Daniel Friend also held the position of Head of Internal and Digital Communications at HM Passport Office, managing communications during a significant period of change. Additional roles include Contact Centre Manager at Capital City College Group, Internal Communications Manager at Delphis Consulting, and Project Analyst at Woolworths Plc. Daniel Friend holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Internal Communications Management from Kingston University.
