Lucy Evara is an experienced HR professional with a robust background in diverse roles within the BAT organization since June 2009, currently serving as the Head of Human Resources for Global Scientific Research & Development. Evara has held key positions including Head of HR for East & Southern African Markets and Senior HR Business Partner for Commercial in West & Central Africa. Previous roles at BAT encompass leadership in talent and organizational effectiveness, change management, and training initiatives across the East & Central Africa region. Prior to joining BAT, Evara worked as an HR Generalist at Shell Oil Company and began their career at Safaricom as a Customer Care Representative. Evara holds a Bachelor's degree from Kenyatta University and a Higher National Diploma in Human Resource from the Institute of Human Resource Management (IHRM).
