Javed Rahaman is an experienced maintenance and process lead with a background in chemical and process engineering. Since March 2018, Javed has been with BAT, initially as a Process Lead in the Primary Manufacturing Department and currently serving as the Autonomous Maintenance Lead, focusing on implementing preventative maintenance programs and reducing equipment downtime and maintenance costs. Prior to BAT, Javed worked as a Supply Chain Analyst at Ansa McAl Chemicals Limited and held engineering roles at Spark's Fabrication. Javed's educational qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree in Chemical and Process Engineering from The University of the West Indies, St. Augustine, and A and O level passes in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry from Presentation College.
