Cora Koppe-Stahrenberg, PhD, currently serves as Chief People Officer at BAT, a position held since November 2023. Previously, Cora was the Executive Vice President and Global Head of Human Resources at Fresenius Medical Care from April 2016 to March 2023, overseeing HR strategies for over 125,000 employees globally. Cora's prior experience includes serving as Managing Director and Human Resources Leader International at Marsh Inc., where responsibilities included HR oversight for 15,000 employees in over 100 countries. Cora also held the title of Chief Human Resources Officer at Emirates Investment Authority, contributing to the start-up of the HR function, and has extensive experience from GE in various leadership roles, including Chief HR Officer for GE Money Central & Eastern Europe. Cora's foundational education includes a PhD and a Master's degree in Business Administration from the University of Kiel, Germany.
