Benjamin Chang is a Senior Data Scientist at BAT since February 2021, specializing in tools such as Azure ML, Azure Databricks, Snowflake, Dash, and Power BI. Prior experience includes roles as a Data Scientist at RHB Banking Group from September 2017 to February 2021, where SAS, H2O, Zeppelin, Apache Hue, and Tableau were utilized. At KPMG Malaysia, Benjamin developed an end-to-end facial recognition proof of concept in three weeks and created a dashboard proof of concept using the Elastic stack. Benjamin also served as a Brand Consultant at DIA Brands, enhancing creative team productivity, and as a Technology Consulting Analyst at Accenture, where significant savings were achieved through automation. Education includes a Machine Learning Engineer Nanodegree from Udacity (2016-2017) and a Master of Engineering in Chemical Engineering from the University of Nottingham (2008-2013).
