Cindy Alvis has extensive experience in education, serving as a Special Education Teacher at Bristol City Public Schools since August 1990. Prior to this role, Cindy worked in the Sullivan County Tennessee School System as a Teacher from May 1986 to August 1990. Additionally, Cindy held various positions at BVPS from October 1981 to March 2010, including Assistant Director, Swimming Instructor, Middle School Coach, and Pool Maintenance. Cindy earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Special Education and Teaching from East Tennessee State University between 1982 and 1986.
