Colleen Large is a seasoned professional specializing in sustainable materials and green building practices. Currently serving as the Sustainable Materials Service Lead and Senior Consultant at Brightworks Sustainability since March 2020, Colleen has extensive experience managing green building certifications such as LEED and the NYC Green Schools Guide for various projects. Previously held project management roles at Vidaris, Inc., where responsibilities included assisting clients in identifying healthier building materials and overseeing projects from inception to completion. Colleen's early career included positions as a Sustainability Coordinator at Tulane University, where contributions to recycling systems and data analysis for sustainability initiatives were significant, as well as roles at Global Green USA and Urban Green Council focused on partnership development and advocacy. Colleen holds a Bachelor's Degree in Economics and Environmental Studies from Tulane University and has pursued further education at the Parsons School of Design.
