Malcolm McCafferty is an experienced boilermaker and welder, currently employed at Brightwater Engineering since August 2023. Prior to this role, Malcolm worked at DC Equipment from June 2021 to September 2023 as a welder, and served a long tenure at Babcock Marine (Rosyth) Limited from May 2014 to May 2022, specializing as a welder in the nuclear division. During time at Babcock Marine, responsibilities included working with coded 6G/6GR mild steel, TIPTIG duplex welding in all positions, and manual TIG welding for duplex and stainless steel pipes in varying sizes. Malcolm McCafferty completed secondary education at Coltness High School from 1979 to 1983.
