Hayley Lawanson has a long and varied work experience, beginning in 2009 as a Service Professional with The Listening Company. In 2010 they took a position as a Sales Administrator with Colour Studio's, and in 2011 they began working with apetito UK as a Trainee Commercial Accountant. In 2017 they joined Banner Ltd as a Management Accountant, and in 2022 they began working as an Associate Implementation Consultant with Brightpearl by Sage.

Hayley Lawanson is currently enrolled in the Train the Trainer program at Brentwood Open Learning College. Prior to this, they attended Eagle Education from 2014-2016, where they earned their AAT degree. Before that, they obtained their GCSE's from Crookhorn College of Technology between 2000-2005. Additionally, Lawanson has obtained several certifications, including an Advanced Diploma in Accounting Level 4 from AAT in 2016, a Diploma in Accounting Level 3 from AAT in 2015, a Certificate in Accounting Level 2 from AAT in 2015, a Certificate in Bookkeeping Level 2 from AAT in 2015, and a Microsoft Excel 2010 Advanced certification from Computerworld Group in 2014.
