Michael Bedingfield DL has extensive experience in leadership and governance within various cultural and tourism organizations. Currently serving as a Governor at the University of Brighton since May 2024 and as Chairman of the Royal Pavilion & Museums since December 2019, Michael previously held the position of Deputy Chair at The National Museum of the Royal Navy from October 2012 to October 2022. Additional roles include Director of Sales, Marketing and Communications at the Royal Automobile Club from May 2011 to December 2016, Board Trustee at Culture24 from July 2009 to July 2015, Chief Executive of Tourism South East from June 2009 to May 2011, Marketing Director at VisitBritain from June 2003 to June 2009, and Head of Brand Marketing at P&O Cruises between 2000 and 2003. Michael Bedingfield holds an MA in Marketing from Kingston University (1990-1991).
