Debra Patterson has a diverse work experience in the field of behavioral health and casework. Debra is currently working at Brightline as a Senior Pediatric Behavioral Health Coach since May 2023. Prior to that, they held the role of Pediatric Behavioral Health Coach at the same company starting in September 2021. Before joining Brightline, they worked at Ginger as a Behavioral Health Coach from March 2020 to September 2021.

Debra also has experience in casework, having worked as an Intake Caseworker at Douglas County from August 2018 to December 2020. Debra was a Behavioral Health Coach at myStrength from February 2018 to September 2019.

In the earlier years of their career, Debra worked as a Permanency Caseworker at Jefferson County, Colorado from January 2015 to September 2017. Debra also had a role as an Ongoing Caseworker at Adams County Government from February 2014 to January 2015. Prior to that, they worked at The Children's Home of Jefferson County in various roles including Permanency Caseworker, Caseworker Aide, and Foster Care Visitation from October 2010 to October 2012.

Debra Patterson pursued their education at various institutions throughout their academic journey. Debra began their formal education in 1999 at Tacoma Community College, where they earned an Associate of Arts and Sciences (A.A.S.) degree in Psychology and Sociology. Continuing their studies, Debra attended Methodist University from 2003 to 2005, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Psychology. In 2006, they completed a 200 Hour Hatha Yoga Certification program at SeaSide Yoga/The Yoga Paradigm, specializing in Hatha Yoga. Debra's educational pursuits culminated at Southern New Hampshire University from 2017 to 2020, where they earned a Master of Science (MS) degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology.
