Anya Golder

Senior Consultant at BrightCarbon

Anya Golder is an experienced communication consultant at BrightCarbon since January 2022, following a role as a bioscientist at Cancer Research UK Manchester Institute from April 2021 to January 2022. Anya completed a PhD at Manchester Cancer Research Centre from September 2016 to June 2021, focusing on developing a drug profiling platform for patient-derived ovarian tumor cultures within Professor Stephen Taylor's group. Anya has a total of five years of experience in translational oncology and has worked in multidisciplinary teams to create pre-clinical patient-derived models of ovarian cancer. Other experience includes positions at GSK as an industrial placement student, conducting high throughput flow cytometry, and various roles in laboratory assistance and coaching at educational institutions. Anya holds a Bachelor's Degree in Biochemistry with Industrial Experience from The University of Manchester, completed in 2016.
