Levan Abesadze has worked in various roles and organizations throughout their career. Levan started in 2016 as a private tax company employee, where they updated security manuals, implemented system recovery procedures, and updated security software. In 2017, they joined Justice Execution as an Information Technology Services Specialist, where they prepared security reports, discussed cyber security efforts with management, and conducted investigations into cyber security breaches. In 2019, they worked as a teacher at an English Language Intensive Teaching secondary school. From 2020 to 2022, they served as a teacher at UNIKO and also worked as a Cyber Security Specialist at Georgian National University SEU. In 2021, they were employed as a Project Manager at Cyberowl and as a Team leader at Isani-samgori Operations Coordination and Support, where they coordinated IT contracts and managed software and hardware licensing agreements. In 2022, they became an Invited Professor at BTU - Business and Technology University. Currently, they work as a Security Researcher at Bright.
Levan Abesadze obtained a Bachelor's degree in International Law and Legal Studies from Georgian Technical University, where they attended from 2012 to 2019. In addition to their degree, they have also completed several certifications in the field of cybersecurity and information security. In August 2020, Levan obtained a certification in Endpoint Security from StationX. Levan further expanded their expertise by acquiring an Information security awareness certification from Fortinet in August 2022. In January 2023, they completed the "Introduction to Threat Hunting" certification from Security Blue Team, followed by the "Cyber Threat Intelligence 101" certification from arcX in March 2023. Most recently, in May 2023, Levan obtained a certification in Responsible Red Teaming from The Taggart Institute.
