Katie Richardson has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Katie is currently the Chief Executive Officer at Bright by Text and has been in this role since February 2023. Prior to that, Katie was the Co-Founder of Fusion Skin Rehab and Therapeasy, starting in July 2021 and July 2018, respectively. Katie also worked as a Consultant Pediatrician at Dr. Katie On-Demand Concierge Telehealth from July 2020 onwards. In addition, Katie has their own consulting business, Katie Richardson, MD, Consulting LLC, where they serve as the Principal since October 2019.

Katie's previous experience includes working as the VP of Clinical Relations at AngelMD from January 2020 to April 2022. Katie also had an extensive tenure at Colorado Permanente Medical Group (CPMG). Katie held multiple roles at CPMG, including CPMG Gives Director, Pediatrician, Healthcare Innovation Leader, Director of Physician Experience, and Primary Care Operations Chief. During their time at CPMG, Katie was involved in various initiatives, such as creating philanthropic programs, leading quality improvement projects, and implementing innovative healthcare solutions.

Katie Richardson completed their Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Biology, General from Colorado College from 1991 to 1995. Katie then pursued their Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree at the University of Colorado School of Medicine from 1996 to 2000. Following this, they joined the Pediatrics Residency Program at Children's Hospital Colorado from 2000 to 2003.
