John Snow

Adjunct Faculty - Capstone Coach at Brigham Young University

John Snow is a seasoned engineer with extensive experience in FPGA design and digital hardware development, currently serving as a Sr. FPGA Engineer at Cobalt Digital since October 2015. In addition to this role, John is a long-term member of SMPTE, actively chairing the TC-32NF-80 working group, and contributes to academia as an Adjunct Faculty - Capstone Coach at Brigham Young University. Previous experience includes significant positions at Xilinx, where John developed FPGA IP for broadcast standards and represented the company in technical committee meetings, and at Evans & Sutherland, where leadership roles included Director of Engineering overseeing graphics system development. John holds a BSEE in Electrical Engineering from Brigham Young University.
