Mary Spencer, BS, LATg, brings extensive experience in animal husbandry, research compliance, and operational management within the animal care sector. Currently serving as Vice President and Board Member of the Vivarium Operational Excellence Network, and as a Volunteer at Amazing Animal Ambassadors since June 2024, Mary's role involves the care of diverse animal species. At Brigham and Women's Hospital, Mary excels as Billing and Special Services Manager while previously holding positions such as IACUC Protocol Administrator and Procurement and Billing Specialist. Prior to this, significant contributions were made at Massachusetts General Hospital and Novartis Institutes for BioMedical Research, focusing on research animal care, regulatory compliance, and facility management. Mary holds a Bachelor of Science in Animal Sciences and Animal Management from the University of Rhode Island.
