Pavlin Kumchev is an experienced investment professional with a diverse background in private equity and investment banking. Since March 2019, Pavlin has been working at Brigade Capital Management, LP. Prior experience includes roles at The Carlyle Group, focusing on strategic partnerships and distressed debt; The Blackstone Group, specializing in restructuring and reorganization in the EMEA region; and Behrman Capital, L.P., where Pavlin was involved in due diligence, negotiation, and execution of leveraged acquisitions. Earlier career experience includes investment banking at Morgan Stanley, handling various transactions within the healthcare sector. Pavlin holds an MBA with Distinction from INSEAD and a BA in Mathematical Economics, summa cum laude, from Colgate University, with additional study at The University of Freiburg.
