Robert Edes has a diverse work experience in the behavioral health and community support sectors. Robert is currently serving as the Chief Operating Officer at Bridgeway Behavioral Health Services since January 2022. Prior to that, they held the position of Director of Administrative Services at Bridgeway Rehabilitation Services from September 2015.
From 2009 to 2015, Robert worked at Volunteers of America-Greater New York, where they held various roles. Robert started as the Business Manager for Northern New Jersey, responsible for managing the fiscal and operational performance of programs serving youth and adults. Later, they were promoted to Assistant Vice-President of Community Support and Behavioral Health for Northern New Jersey. In this role, they directed community-based programs providing housing, intervention, and support services to various populations. Robert mobilized staffs, developed partnerships, and implemented fiscal best practices to maximize funding impact.
Prior to their time at Volunteers of America-Greater New York, Robert served as the Director of Community Corrections and Outreach Services at the same organization starting in 2002.
Robert Edes holds a Master of Public Affairs degree in Public Administration & Finance from the University of Connecticut. Robert also has a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Criminal Justice from Westfield State University. Additionally, they have obtained a Certificate in Professional Security Management from John Jay College (CUNY), a Certificate in Not For Profit Accounting from New York University, and a Certificate in Not for Profit Executive Management from the University of Notre Dame.
