Carys Swain has extensive experience in educational leadership and language instruction at Bridgend College since September 2002, holding various key positions including Head of Welsh, Student Services Manager, Skills for Adults Curriculum Area Manager, Welsh and Bilingualism Manager, Staff Development Manager, and Welsh tutor. Carys is responsible for leading teams to deliver a diverse range of courses in Skills for Adults, ESOL, and Welsh, as well as overseeing projects to enhance Welsh and bilingual activities. In addition, Carys serves as a part-time Welsh tutor at Canolfan Cymraeg i Oedolion Morgannwg, a Peer Inspector for Estyn, and previously held the position of Non-executive Director at Agored Cymru, contributing to the development of Welsh medium qualifications. Carys's academic credentials include a Master of Arts in Leadership and Management and a PGCE in Further Education.
