Matthew L. Strayer currently serves as a Partner at Bricker Graydon since April 2023, following a tenure as a Partner and Attorney at Bricker & Eckler LLP from August 2019 to April 2023. Prior experience includes roles as an Attorney at Goldman & Brainstein LLP (February 2016 - July 2019) and Porter Wright Morris & Arthur LLP (September 2014 - February 2016), as well as a Legal Intern at The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law Civil Law Clinic (January 2014 - May 2014) and a Judicial Extern for The Honorable Michael H. Watson in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Ohio (January 2013 - April 2013). Matthew began their professional career in journalism, working as a Sports Writer for Ashland Times-Gazette, where first-place recognition for “Best Sports Writer” was awarded by the Associated Press, and as a Reporter/Anchor for WPKO-FM and WBLL-AM, receiving second place for "Best Reporter" from the Ohio Associated Press Broadcasters in 2007. Matthew earned a Juris Doctor from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law (2011 - 2014) and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Media Studies from Malone University (2004 - 2008).
