Eko Putranto has a diverse work experience. Eko started their career as a Junior PR Consultant at Alchemy Creative Communications in 2008. Eko then worked at CIMB Niaga, where they served as a Management Trainee and later as a Relationship Manager from 2009 to 2013. After that, they joined PT. Axis Energi Nusantara as a Project Finance Manager from 2013 to 2016. In 2016, they worked at Danareksa as the Institutional Coverage & Origination Manager before moving on to become the Debt Capital Market Manager. Currently, they hold the position of VP - Debt Capital Market at BRI Danareksa Sekuritas, joining in November 2018.

From 2004 to 2008, Eko Putranto attended Universitas Paramadina, where they pursued a degree in Communication. Eko successfully completed their undergraduate studies during this time.
