Jason Brown currently serves as the Chief Compliance Officer at Brex since September 2023, following a role as Compliance Manager at Silicon Valley Bank from April 2022 to September 2023. Between May 2021 and the present, Jason has dedicated time as a stay-at-home dad and caretaker for an aging parent. Previously, Jason worked at Carta as Compliance Officer 2, where responsibilities included drafting and implementing firm policies and assisting with regulatory examinations. Jason's career began at Morgan Stanley, where roles ranged from Regional Manager to Senior Margin/Risk Analyst. Jason holds a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Utah - David Eccles School of Business.
