Joost Otterloo currently serves as the Senior Vice President of Human Resources at Brenntag Essentials since September 2023. Otterloo is also involved with Sphere Leadership Advisory, providing expertise in leadership, culture, people, and teams since April 2022. Previous roles include serving as a Leadership Advisory Consultant and Associate Partner at Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners from August 2022 to October 2023, and as a Consultant and Partner at Spencer Stuart from November 2016 to December 2021. Joost Otterloo’s experience also encompasses positions such as Chief People Officer at TNT, CEO at De Lotto, and Group SVP Human Resources & Communications at CSM NV. Early in the career, Otterloo held various human resources roles at Unilever, culminating in the position of VP HR Foods Category, and began professional life as an Assistant/Senior Auditor at Price Waterhouse. Otterloo holds a Master’s degree in Business Economics from Tilburg University, earned between 1989 and 1994.
