Alyssa Downs, CPA, MBA, is an experienced tax accountant currently at Brenner & Company, LLP since June 2019, where a transition to the tax side occurred in 2023. Prior experience includes roles as a bookkeeper at Radix Accounting and tax accounting staff at VergePointe, where personal and business tax returns were prepared. Earlier positions featured a relationship banking assistant role at Pacific Continental Bank, and an internship with Beneficial State Foundation focused on small business engagement. Alyssa also has experience as a business intern supporting Bellingham Angel Investors and has held various positions during academic studies at Western Washington University, culminating in an MBA. Alyssa holds a Post-Bac Accounting Certificate from Portland State University and a BA in Economics from Western Washington University.
