IHung (Kevin) Ting

Director of Production and Supply Chain at BRELYON

IHung (Kevin) Ting has had a diverse and extensive work experience, beginning in 2008 as a Research Assistance at National Cheng Kung University, where they developed lab instruments such as differentiator/amplifier/power supply from schematics and achieved laser cooling of atoms. In 2011, they became a Research Assistance at the University of Pittsburgh, where they designed deposition, annealing and etching to find the best annealing temperature and silver thickness per DOE to enhance new type thin-film solar cell efficiency by 20%. In 2012, they joined Hermes-Microvision, Inc. as a Senior System Engineer and maintained global customer relationships, planned and managed development, and wrote and maintained technical specifications. In 2017, they joined Aeolus Robotics, Inc. as a Staff Optical System Engineer, where they achieved product launch on time through integrating robot functions. In 2018, they worked as a Principal Optical Engineer at Foxconn and as a Staff Optical System Engineer at Meta Co., where they designed evaluation algorithms, defined optical characterization plans, and established new optical systems for advanced AR research projects. In 2019, they joined BRELYON as the Director of Production and Supply Chain, where they developed the world's first UR (Ultra Reality) display technology, designed advanced light field and AR/VR optical device from scratch, and established the whole supply chain to do new type optical devices mass production.

IHung (Kevin) Ting attended the University of California, Irvine Division of Continuing Education from 2014 to 2015, where they studied Optics/Optical Sciences. IHung (Kevin) then attended the University of Pittsburgh from 2010 to 2012, where they obtained a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering. IHung (Kevin) completed their undergraduate studies at National Cheng Kung University from 2005 to 2009, where they obtained a B.S. in Physics.
