Matthew Briggs is an experienced aviation professional currently serving as a First Officer at Breeze Airways™ since June 2022. Prior to this role, Matthew worked as an Airline Pilot with Piedmont Airlines from April 2020 to July 2022 and gained valuable experience as a Certified Flight Instructor and Admissions Officer at Phoenix East Aviation from June 2018 to July 2022. In this capacity, Matthew assisted international students in navigating the visa process and adapting to studying in a new country while pursuing their aviation goals. Additionally, Matthew worked as a Community Assistant at American Campus Communities from May 2015 to April 2017, focusing on lease management and marketing strategies. Matthew holds a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science and Government from the University at Buffalo and a Professional Pilot degree from Phoenix East Aviation, along with prior studies in Airline/Commercial/Professional Pilot and Flight Crew at Farmingdale State College. Matthew’s educational journey began at Avon Central High School, culminating in a strong foundation for a successful career in aviation.
