Vaskar Gnyawali, PhD, is a highly skilled professional specializing in biomedical engineering and microfluidics. Currently serving as Co-founder and Chief Scientific Officer at Breaking since November 2023, Vaskar has previously held roles as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at both the Wyss Institute for Biologically Inspired Engineering and Harvard Medical School from September 2018 to October 2023. Prior to these positions, Vaskar contributed as an External Scientific Consultant at VivaVax Inc. and worked as an Equipment Specialist at the Laboratory of Fields, Flows, and Interfaces (LoFFI) at Ryerson University. Vaskar's earlier experience includes engineering roles focused on automated microfluidic systems and wireless devices during stints at Hahn-Schickard and the University of Freiburg.
