Gretchen Gately, BSHIM, RHIA, is a seasoned healthcare professional with extensive experience in health information management and medical coding. Since July 2010, Gretchen has served as a Certified Coding Professional at Brazosport Regional Health System and has been a HIM Coding Analyst with Healthcare Excellence Institute since 2016. Gretchen also has experience with Corporate Coding Services at Community Health Systems. An alumnus of Midland College, Gretchen earned an Associate of Applied Science in Health Information/Medical Records Technology between 2008 and 2010, followed by a Bachelor of Science in Health Information Management from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine from 2012 to 2014. Currently, Gretchen is pursuing a Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology at the University of Houston-Victoria.
