Mayra Favela is a seasoned financial professional with extensive experience in accounting and financial management. Currently serving as Controller US at Brazeway since July 2011, Mayra has held multiple critical positions including Corporate Cost Accounting Manager and Accounting Manager. Responsibilities include preparing financial statements, managing monthly closings, overseeing account reconciliations, and coordinating tax and treasury operations. Prior to Brazeway, Mayra worked at Canam as a Credit Officer and Project Accountant, and at ING Hipotecaria as Treasury Leader. Mayra holds an MBA in Finance from Universidad de Monterrey and a degree in Accounting from Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León, complemented by leadership development training from Humanergy.
