Junior Danamwa has worked in a variety of roles since 2003. Junior began their career at Telkom as a Sales Executive, followed by a position at South African Breweries as a Sales Support. From 2010 to 2012, Danamwa worked as a Customer Service Officer at Delta Air Lines and then as a Sales Manager at Distell. From 2015 to 2017, they worked as a Passenger Sales Executive at Singapore Airlines and as a Sales Executive at Enel Group. In 2018, they took on a role as a Sponsorship Partner at Clarion Events and is currently working as an Event Coordinator at AfCFTA - African Continental Free Trade Area. In this role, they are responsible for coordinating socio-cultural and economic events in line with AfCFTA's mission.

Junior Danamwa obtained a Senior Certificate in Biochemistry from Ecole Masamba in 1997-2002. Junior then went on to receive a National Diploma in Biotechnology from Vaal University of Technology in 2006-2009. Following this, they obtained a National Certificate in Food and Beverage Packaging Operations from FoodBev Manufacturing SETA in 2011-2012. In 2014-2017, Junior Danamwa earned an Associate's Degree in Customer Relationship Management from the University of South Africa/Universiteit van Suid-Afrika. In 2016, they received two Certificates from IATA Training in Narrow Body and Dangerous Goods. In 2015, Junior Danamwa obtained an Advance Airlines Amadeus Air fares Certificate from the International Air Transport Association (IATA).
