Irene Franken is a seasoned communication advisor currently serving at Bravis ziekenhuis since October 2021. With a diverse background in strategic communication, Irene held previous roles at SDW Zorg and Gemeente Steenbergen, and served as a senior instructor and crisis communication advisor at V&R Consult. Experience in municipal communication includes roles at Gemeente Halderberge and Gemeente Borsele, where responsibilities spanned from advising local officials to managing all aspects of communication. In addition to professional pursuits, Irene is a co-owner of Franken Fruit, a family-run farming business, and has a strong academic foundation with a Master in Media & Journalism from Erasmus University Rotterdam and a Bachelor in Language and Culture Studies from Utrecht University.
