Matúš Vallo has served as the Mayor of Bratislava since December 2018, following a leadership role in the NGO Platforma pre Bratislavu from 2016 to November 2018, where efforts focused on developing a comprehensive vision for the city. Prior to that, Vallo was the President of the NGO My sme mesto from January 2009 to November 2018, initiating the project "Mestské zásahy" to identify and address urban issues. Vallo's career began as the Director of Vallo Sadovsky Architects from 2003 to November 2018, showcasing a strong background in architecture and urban development.
