Patrick Traister is an accomplished legal professional specializing in intellectual property with substantial experience in both counsel and management roles. Currently serving as Chief IP Counsel at Braskem since May 2016, Patrick leads the intellectual property department. Prior to this role, Patrick was employed at Schlumberger from March 2010 to May 2016, where responsibilities included business line legal counsel, managing a multi-billion dollar IP segment, and overseeing substantial litigation and budget management. Earlier experience includes serving as an Associate at Shore Chan Bragalone Depumpo LLP, where duties involved patent litigation and licensing. Patrick holds a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from the University of Houston and a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Texas A&M University.
