Cassaundra Carhart-Souk has extensive experience in the field of substance abuse treatment and advocacy. Currently serving as a Victim Advocate at the Delaware Department of Justice since February 2023, Cassaundra also holds the position of Program Manager at Brandywine Counseling & Community Services, Inc. since May 2018. Previous roles include Program Director for both the Key South Men's Treatment Program and a 6 for 1 Women's Treatment Program at Connections CSP Inc. from November 2015 to May 2018, as well as Clinical Supervisor and Senior Counselor at Connections from June 2014 to November 2015 and November 2010 to November 2013, respectively. Early career experiences include serving as a Substance Abuse Counselor at ARS New Castle and MHM Services, Inc. Cassaundra possesses a Bachelor's degree in Behavioral Sciences from Wilmington University, an Associate's degree in Drug and Alcohol Counseling from Delaware Technical Community College, and is pursuing Master's degrees in Mental Health Counseling and Psychology.
