Elizabeth Bradfield is an accomplished poet and educator with extensive experience in both academia and naturalist leadership. Currently serving as an Associate Professor of the Practice and Poet-in-Residence at Brandeis University since April 2012, Elizabeth teaches creative writing and mentors students. As the founder and editor of Broadsided Press, Elizabeth promotes collaborations between artists and writers. Elizabeth's expertise as a naturalist is highlighted through roles with Silversea Cruises, Lindblad Expeditions, and Orbridge, where Elizabeth leads expeditions and lectures. Elizabeth's academic background includes a Wallace Stegner Fellowship at Stanford University and an MFA in Poetry from the University of Alaska Anchorage, complemented by a BA in English Literature and Women's Studies from the University of Washington.
