Assaf (Assi) Horowitz has a diverse work experience spanning various fields. Assaf (Assi) is currently the CEO and Co-Founder of Brainvivo, a company specializing in brain-driven artificial intelligence and neuro-imaging technologies. At Brainvivo, Assi has been involved in developing and implementing proprietary neuro-imaging technologies to capture neural networks. Assaf (Assi) aims to build multi-brain and multi-species-driven networks based on the architecture of specific organisms.
In 2019, Assi became a member of both 8400 - The Health Network and Google for Startups Israel.
Prior to their current roles, Assi served as the VP of Sales and Marketing at Inovytec Medical Solutions Ltd. from 2014 to 2016. Before that, they were the Senior Project Manager at The Alfredo Federico Strauss Center for Computational Neuroimaging, where they led the design and construction of a state-of-the-art neuroimaging center at Tel-Aviv University.
Assi's earlier experience includes being the Chief Instructional Officer at Via Maris - דרך הים, a position they held from 2007 to 2013. Assaf (Assi) also served as a Captain in the Israeli Navy Forces from 2001 to 2007.
Assaf (Assi) Horowitz has a diverse education history. In 2001-2002, they attended the Israeli Naval Academy, where they received a degree in Naval Officer. Later, from 2007 to 2010, they pursued their Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) degree in Biotechnology at Tel Aviv University. Following this, from 2010 to 2012, Assaf completed their Master of Science (MSc) in Neuroscience, also at Tel Aviv University.
Assaf (Assi)'sacademic journey continued at the Sagol School of Neuroscience, Tel Aviv University, where they pursued their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Computational Neuroscience from 2014 to 2018. Seeking to expand their knowledge in the business field, Assaf then pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in International Business from the Tel Aviv University - Coller School of Management, which they completed between 2018 and 2019.
Most recently, in 2021, they furthered their leadership skills through a program at Harvard Business School Executive Education, focusing on the field of study in Leadership.
