Research Assistant at BrainGate Team

Richard C. is currently serving as a Design Engineering Intern at the MIT Media Lab, collaborating with Dr. Nataliya Kos’myna on projects related to AttentivU smart glasses and brain-computer interfaces. Additionally, Richard holds positions as a Research Assistant with the BrainGate Team and as a Collaborator at Coapt | Myo Pattern Recognition, both starting in 2024. Prior experience includes a Research Internship at Academia Sinica, Taiwan, where work was conducted with Dr. Keng-hui Lin in the Soft Matter Physics & Biomaterials lab from 2020 to 2022. Richard is pursuing a BS in Computer Engineering at Brown University and a BFA in Industrial Design at the Rhode Island School of Design, with an academic history that includes a High School Diploma from Taipei American School, obtained in 2023.
