David Pawlan is an accomplished entrepreneur and co-founder with a diverse portfolio of ventures in the technology and venture philanthropy sectors. Currently serving as co-founder of Bracketology, a platform for fantasy sports based on reality TV, and Aloa, which facilitates outsourcing for startups, David has a strong focus on reducing barriers to innovation. Additionally, as co-founder of Fifth Star Funds, David addresses the funding disparities faced by Black founders in America by investing in early-stage Black tech entrepreneurs. Past roles include Venture Partner at Wefunder, a summer analyst at BlackRock, and founder and CEO of RoomE, a college roommate matching app. David holds a degree in Human and Organizational Development from Vanderbilt University.
