Alex Balsbaugh is a seasoned financial professional with extensive experience in trading and analysis. Currently serving as a Trading Analyst and previously as a Derivatives and Repo Analyst at Bracebridge Capital, LLC since August 2018, Alex has a solid background in hedge fund operations as an AIS Hedge Funds Associate at State Street from June 2017 to August 2018. Additionally, Alex gained valuable skills during internships, such as summer work at Nektria focusing on e-commerce analysis and social media analytics in Spanish and Catalan, along with roles at Thomson Reuters that involved financial analysis and product management. Alex holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Global Studies from Colby College, completed in 2017, with a minor in Chinese.
