Chris Nicol is an experienced electrical and firmware engineer with a strong background in developing collaborative solutions and innovative educational devices. Currently employed at SMART Technologies since July 2010, Chris has contributed to the development of hardware and firmware for DViT interactive whiteboards and accessories. Prior to this, Chris held positions as an electronics contractor at Science Alberta Foundation, a teaching assistant at the University of Calgary, and an electronics engineer at Grindcom, where contributions included designing control systems for forestry equipment. Chris holds a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Calgary and a Bachelor of Technology in Electronics Engineering from DeVry Institute of Technology.
